LET ME HOLD YOUR HAND(CHAPTER-6)

Can  we get over the distance?

In the starting months, they used to share little things but as time passed things started getting worse. Sometimes he was busy and sometimes Sarah was not able to pick up his calls,  as she was preparing to get admission to an abroad University for her higher education. They couldn't talk properly for so long and the distance between them was palpable. It was a difficult time for both of them as they struggled to come to terms with the situation.

Zayn was especially struggling with the guilt of keeping his feelings for Sarah hidden. He couldn't help but think that maybe if he had been honest with her earlier, things would have been different. He tried to move on, but his heart still yearned for her.


Meanwhile, Sarah was also having a hard time adjusting to her new life in a new city. She missed Zayn terribly and felt like a part of her was missing. She tried to keep busy with school and making new friends, but nothing could fill the void that Zayn had left behind.
Months went by and both of them continued to lead separate lives. However, fate had other plans in store for them.
One day, Finally,  Zayn decided that he'll meet her and sort out everything between them.
Suddenly, Zayn  received a message from one of Sarah's friends while he was just scrolling over the social media . The news was about Sarah's accident. His heart sunk as he received the message, and without wasting a minute, he rushed to  see her. 


When he arrived to hospital, he found Sarah's family waiting in the waiting room. Everyone was worried and stressed in that situation. Zayn hesitated to approach them but after sometimes made his way over to Sarah's family "I'm Sarah's friend , how did all this happen" Zayn asked showing his concern. To his surprise, they explained everything about Sarah's condition, that she was suffering from migraine over few week and she had become very weak, and now the accident." Zayn was finally allowed to see Sarah. 



As he stood beside her bed, his heart longed to see her in such a condition. He was unable to find the words to say to her after  months of silence, but somehow he gathered courage, and they started talking. They spoke about their lives, their regrets, and how much they missed each other. As the days went by, Zayn took care of her with all her efforts and made sure to visit Sarah every day .He used to bring her favorite food. 

During this time Zayn realized that he had to tell Sarah how he felt about her and so he spoke up after seeing that she was also struggling with what had happened between them. After a moment of awkward silence Sarah told him she had missed him too and that she hoped they could find a way back to each other

The Confession   Sarah knew that starting a romantic relationship with a close friend could be risky, but she was willing to take the chance with Zayn. 2.When they collided Sarah was new to that library and had just newly moved to town with her family. Zayn was sitting in the library reading a book and was lost in his own thoughts. A  girl was walking towards Zayn, his heart was throbbing fastly. Delightfully he looked up to greet  her and was engaging himself to start a conversation. But Sarah began the conversation asking him " Hey, can you tell me where can I find this book ? " .  She was in a yellow long kurti, her long hair were falling in loose waves around her shoulders.
